I Didn’t Receive a Sign-In Verification Code. What Should I Do?
Use this guide if the verification code you need to sign in to the Wevolt App hasn’t arrived. Most codes turn up within a couple of minutes — the steps below cover what to do if yours hasn’t.
Quick checks
Before requesting a new code, run through these:
- Check the email or phone you entered. Make sure it matches the one you used to sign up for Wevolt — a single character off and the code won’t reach you.
- Email codes: check your Spam, Junk, and Promotions folders. Verification emails are sometimes filtered automatically.
- SMS codes: check you have mobile signal. If you’re indoors or in a poor reception area, step outside and try again.
- Wait a couple of minutes. Codes can take up to 4–5 minutes to arrive, especially during busy periods.
Resend the code
If nothing arrives, tap Resend code on the verification screen. Wait the full couple of minutes again before assuming it’s failed — a quick second tap usually doesn’t help.
✓ If a code arrives after you’ve closed the app
If you’ve already navigated away from the Wevolt App and the code turns up, reopen the app and sign in with your email and password — you’ll be prompted to enter the code again. Don’t start the sign-in flow from scratch, as that will issue a new code and invalidate the one you received.
Try the alternate channel if available
If you signed up with both an email and a phone number, switch to the other channel on the verification screen:
- If you usually get email codes and they’re not arriving, try requesting an SMS code instead.
- If you usually get SMS codes and your reception is patchy, try email.
The option to switch only appears if both channels are on file for your account.
Reach out to Wevolt Support if:
- You’ve tried two resends, waited five minutes each time, and nothing has arrived on either channel.
- The email or phone number on your account is wrong — for example, you’ve changed providers since signing up.
- You’re locked out and can’t reach the resend screen at all.
